Mon, June 30, 2008 - 9:04 PMMaintenance Sex & Make up sex? Sex shouldn't be "maintenance" in my opinion. As for make up sex I don't think anything is worth fighting over. I personally haven't experienced on and off relationships so I am not interested in "make up" sex either. I am passionate, not angry ; ) Maybe its just me though... -

I totally get the "maintenance sex" part though - in previous relationships I've always been the one with the high sex drive, but now things are more evenly matched. Even with that he is a morning sex person and I am more of an evening sex person.... if we waited until both of us were horny at the same time we'd have a lot less sex, so our solution is to have sex morning & evening ;-) With kids in the house it's not crazy hanging from the chandelier sex.... that's what sex days are for!

Wed, July 2, 2008 - 1:23 AMI despise make-up sex. The last thing in the world that I feel like doing after a fight is having sex. I don't fight with my partners often, I'm much more inclined to discuss then scream and if my partner likes to throw tantrums I won't stick around long, but when I do fight it's over something I feel strongly about and I feel icky and wretched and so completely NOT sexy. No. I need to wait a couple of days after a fight before I feel like having sex with ANYBODY, even myself. -

Wed, July 2, 2008 - 8:31 PMhm, theres a difference for me between someone trying to have sex with me while im still upset vs. when we've truly worked through stuff. the latter usually makes me feel closer to the person, so thats ranged from sweet lovemakin to hot hot adrenaline sex.
as for the rest of the types, i glanced through it quickly but really, why not? if you can take your relationship through different emotions AND it involves sex, uh, yeah ok. : ) -

There isn't a whole lot of in-between, and afterward is a return to our previously scheduled romance NOT a form of reconciliation, and I really don't want them to bring up whatever it was we fought about even if it's just to apologize. That instantly kills the mood all over again.
