Ladies, do you enjoy being watched and find it arousing or do you enjoy watching others for purposes of arousal? If either of these is a turn on for you explain why and tell us men of an example where you have done this.

Re: Are you an exhibitionist or a voyeur?
Sun, October 4, 2009 - 10:42 AMI enjoy watching people but I don't know that it is in the realm of voyeur(heh I had a typo and that says boyeur:o) I just find people really interesting and like to watch them in all kinds of situations. It doesn't give me a special zing to watch someone in a sexual situation.
On the other hand I am the opposite of an exhibitionist, maybe it's the scorpio or the introvert in me but having uninvolved people around watching is a huge turn off.
I wonder how much of the exhibitionist/voyeur zing comes from the whole "naughty"/forbidden thing.

Re: Are you an exhibitionist or a voyeur?
Sun, October 4, 2009 - 9:52 PMNope. I'm more tactile than visual. And when I'm in a certain headspace, I couldn't care less if anyone's watching; the rest of the world goes away.

Re: Are you an exhibitionist or a voyeur?
Mon, October 5, 2009 - 10:48 AMthe only time I enjoy being watched or watching is with a lover that I have been with awhile and established trust, then there is a lot that I am open to that turns me on. But the random person won't get that, and it doesn't turn me on.

Re: Are you an exhibitionist or a voyeur?
Thu, October 8, 2009 - 3:09 PMI only enjoy being watched by some one I'm already very comfortable & sexually intimate w/. As for just being naked when in a hot tub or swimming, or at a clothes-optional hotsprings, .I don't consider that exhibitionism People who take that as an automatic invitation & act aggressively need straightening out.
I'm visual & like to watch some people, but again, only in a context where there is trust, & consent. People comfortably naked in natural settings, or freely enjoying themselves is beautiful, fun, & sometimes educational!
I get no thrill from peeping-type behavior....messing w/ anyone's privacy- to me, that's stealing, & a violation.
I'm turned off by exhibitionists who do their thing in a way that comes across as desperate attention-seeking, & there's always a safety factor w/ strange males. But someone who's simply enjoying showing off in an atmosphere there's appropriate (like a sexy dress-up or play party) or is just confident & relaxed at at nude swim spot is fine- playful joy is contagious.

Re: Are you an exhibitionist or a voyeur?
Fri, October 9, 2009 - 7:46 AMHeh. Though not one of the ladies, I'd like to answer...
As an introvert, I'm more inclined to be voyeuristic. And because I think that way; "I'm an introvert", I never have really even considered being an exhibitionist. I'm not really into being a voyeur either. I'd rather be doing my own thing than watching others.
But wait... I perform music publicly so.... maybe... with the right partner...
And so that brings up an interesting idea; with the right partner, would it make a difference? My partner and I have some astoundingly wonderful lovemaking. I sometimes wonder if others would see it that way?

Re: Are you an exhibitionist or a voyeur?
Fri, October 9, 2009 - 7:07 PMyou mean if someone from the outside looking in would see how amazing it was just from watching?
I wonder. I think some people would. That's a good question. When someone is being an exhibitionist...how different is their perception of what they are showing or projecting from what the voyeurs feel like they are seeing? -

Re: Are you an exhibitionist or a voyeur?
Tue, October 13, 2009 - 12:44 PMYes, that's about what I meant. The connection is the amazing thing and nobody can really see that. But can they see the external result of the connection? Hmmmm. Might have to try it one day ;-)
