any ladies here have their labia pierced? inner? outer? both? any advice or helpful info would be appreciated.
i'm getting pierced tomorrow if all goes well and was thinking of getting the outer labia done, but i've read they can have more problems with migrating and such than the inner.

Tue, May 13, 2008 - 9:55 PMWell I have no labia to pierce. But I do have a lot of years in bod mod and have done both on various friends and partners.
Inner labia are a cake walk. Reports have been little pain. easy healing if done by a pro. Make sure as part of the procedure they are using a small pen light to check for veins. done well there should be no blood to speak of. being they are pretty vascular the healing is pretty quick. Takes about 6 months before you should start hanging things off them though beyond just the rings they were done with. Given your lifestyle I would go for a 10 ga piercing. Thinner and your Dom starts pulling on them or using them as attachment points you may encounter some not so fun tearing.
Outer labia. Less vascular and do have a tendency to drift. If you do it I would look to a curved barbell to start and let them fully heal before going to rings. This can limit migration and will be less likely to get pinched pr rubbed while walking. You will find the healing time significantly longer as well.
Either way. When they say no oral without a barrier till healed. Take them serious. The staph and strep bacteria in the mouth are not fun if they get into a piercing.

But I wanted to say I'm sure if you're going to Paul at Body Manipulations as I bet you are that you will be in excellent hands and everything will go perfectly!

Mon, May 26, 2008 - 11:50 PMFunny,,,just had this done. My Boyfriend pierced my right inner the weekend before last and the left last weekend!!! Hot fun!! No problems. The left bleed a touch more than the right....but no big deal. Just keep it clean. Use saline rinse...don't overclean with anitbotic...cause there is GOOD bacteria. Have fun...I love mine!!!!!
